Dear Members,

Question : service tax on export invoice $ 1000 (of services rendered) has provided for in the books (1000*44($ rate) *10.30%) = 4532. after four months amount realised @ say Rs 47.00 a dollar . now will for the differential amount (1000*3(47-44)*10.30/100) again service tax need to pay ?????

As the difference is due to currency flactuation so i don't think you will have to pay any amount of difference. Like on above mentioned example : if currency might be deflated to 41 from 44 the govt. must not have given any credit to you..:-)
