Dear frnds

              I have a Solvant plant and in this factory we used the labour on contract for the loading and unloading of Bags. we deducted the TDS on amount paid to labour contractor but confused that Service tax is applicable or not if applicable then in which category of service. PLS GIVE THE ANSWER IN DETAIL

Since u have taken manpower supply so normally sp is liable but this service comes under reverse charge so u r liable under manpower supply

Only if you are corporate and your sp is non corporate then you have to pay service tax under reverse charge
