Rate is 12% + 2% EC + 1% SHEC 75% abetment available subject to certain conditions

What is service tax

HI Mahesh Here Dear Satish You have to bifurcate inward & outward Trasnport, then abetment & Service Tax. As you must be aware, outward trasport from the place of removal is not elegible for CENVAT credit

Hi, As per Notification No.01/2006-ST, dated 01-03-2006 60% abetment for Rent-a-cab service is available i.e. U have to pay on 40% at prevailing Rate i.e 12.36%. SUBJECT TO OTHER CONDITIONS MENTIONED UNDER SAID NOTIFICATION LIKE NON AVAILMENT OF CENVAT CREDIT ETC.
