Service tax on rent

after crossing  the limit  of Rs 10 lakh, assessee can raise the bill (inclusive of Service tax) & collect the amt that should be collected from Feb 2015.

but if you have dewelling home and the end use is also residential (to let) so service tax is exempted but, if end use is commercial so liable to charge and collect the service tax from tenant.

and service tax charges after SSI exemtion limit Rs. 10 lac.
