Service tax on job work

A is receiving raw materials for preparing biscuits for B,A processess the raw materials and produces the final finished goods as biscuits and B pick ups the finished goods from A at his factory.In such a case is there any liability of ST? A is producing both exempted and non-exempted goods for B, what will be excise duty liability and who shall be paying it.

no, no. please check. here , A is a service provider and liable to pay Service Tax , as A uses his manpower to complete the process.Where A is a job worker, and covered under 194 C also, and B will deduct TDS accordingly.
