Our's is a media company which publishes monthly magazines. As advertisement in printed media is not liable to service tax, we are not paying it. However we have a lot of input services relating to our business.
My doubt is as we are not liable to pay service tax, can I take input credit on those input services and accumulate it for the future.?
you can claim service input tax only if the out put service tax is payable on your service
service tax payment is the primary responsibility and credit is the secondary benifit,
so if there is no primary responsibility
its not possible to take the credit without taxable service.....
