Seminar on corporate governance and companies act, 2013

It is of great pleasure to inform you that the Board of Studies of ICAI is organizing an International conference for CA Students on 14^th & 15^th September, 2013 at Science City Auditorium, Kolkata. This mega-event is being hosted by Eastern India Regional Council of ICAI (EIRC) & Eastern India Chartered Accountants Students' Association (EICASA). The theme of the International Conference is "Accounting Professional – Ace, Astute & Adaptable” so as to understand the intricacies involved in emerging innovations in the Professional Arena, namely, International Standards in the field of Accounting, Auditing & Ethics, Goods and Service Tax, Transfer Pricing Issues etc, and response thereto by the Accountancy Bodies. This would be the annual gathering of CA students from all over the Globe.

Shri K. Rahman Khan, Hon'ble Union Minister for Minority Affairs has consented to be the Chief Guest at this International mega event. CA. Subodh Kumar Agrawal, President, ICAI and CA. K. Raghu , Vice President, ICAI will also grace the occasion.

The programme is likely to be attended by more than 2500 CA students from India and SAFA Member-bodies, namely, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
