When i was a kid i watched this movie of judy Garland - THE WIZARD OF OZ.. it was a beautiful children's movie and she was just so wonderful... She lived for 47 years out of which she had a career as an actress and singer of whole 45 years... she went through severe ups and downs through her life including nervous breakdowns, suicide attempts......

Garland attained international stardom as an actress in musical and dramatic roles, as a recording artist and on the concert stage. Respected for her versatility, she received a Juvenile Academy Award, won a Golden Globe Award, received the Cecil B. DeMille Award for her work in films, as well as Grammy Awards and a Special Tony Award.

In 1997, Garland was posthumously awarded a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. Several of her recordings have been inducted into theGrammy Hall of Fame. In 1999, the American Film Institute placed her among the ten greatest female stars in the history of American cinema.

Now despite of going through such problems... if one gives such importance to being oneself... we can understand how imp it should be...
