Hello,
Since many of you must be aware that the income tax utility is not permitting to claim 87A rebate against STCG 111A which should be allowed ideally as per the law, what should be done in such a case??
Should I pay the tax & file a revised return or show my STcG as 0 & later revise it once the utility gets rectified.
Please help!

Quick Summary
CPC is strict in this matter. Has clarified that the rebate will not be allowed in case of tax at special rate. No hope of any change in the stand.
But they were allowing till 5/7.
That was glitch in the utility. They have not cleared the ITRs filed claiming the rebate.
