Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies whether cash donations up to £2000 made to Shrine Board J&K are eligible for deduction under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act. While some contributions might be deductible, it depends on the Shrine Board's approval and specific wording on the donation receipt. It's advisable to confirm eligibility directly with the Shrine Board's trustees.
