section 54. please help.
Under section 54 do you need to reinvest amount of capital gain or full value of consideration received on sale?

Only amount of capital gain... Not full consideration...
only amount of capital gain to be reinvested
Only Capital gain amount to be invest
Its a simple conceptthat you want to claim deduction for taxable income so you have to invest upto taxable income from capital gain.
