YES

Dear Mr. Sivakumar

Particulars of the employees as required to be disclosed under section 217(2A) of the Companies Act, 1956 read with Companies(Particulars of Employees) Rules, 1975 required to be given in Director’s Report.

Remuneration of employee are required to be given, it is my opinion is that if at the time of appointment of the employee car facilities are included in the total remuneration paid then it will be shown in Director’s Report otherwise not required.

  Views of other experts solicited,

Regards

As per sec.217(2A), for the purpose of this section meaning of remuneration is as specified in explanation to sec. 198. As per that explnation any amenity provided free of cost by the company is included. So in present case it will be included.
