Dear Manish

What is ur problems regarding section 217 (Board's Report) of the Companies Act, 1956.

discuss on 217(2A). Is it necessary to attach to the director's report the particulars required by 217(2a). Without attaching the particulars to the annual accounts of which the directors report is part, can a company state that the same can be inspected at the registered office. What is the proceedure for seeking this exemption.

I have one more point for discussion. - Is salary paid to the MD of the Company covered by 217(2a)?

Hi Sahana

It is required to give Particulars of employee as required to be disclosed under section 217(2A) of the Companies Act, 1956 read with Companies (Particulars of Employees) Rules 1975 in the Director's Report.

Its my opinion to give details of salary paid to MD as annexture to the Director's Report  under Companies (Particulars of Employees) Rules 1975 .

Regards

Is there any change/revision in the amount mentioned under sec 217(2a)? i.e.Rs.2 lacs p.m

Also if an employee joins in the mid year and leaves the organisation before the end of the financial year should his remuneration be calculated on propotionate basis? Rs.2lac p.m * no.of months of service?

Regards

It is all about Directors Report and remuneration thereon
