An educational society was granted exemption u/s 80G for the period of 2002-2005. Now, can this be renewed or we have to apply for new registration since 7 years have passed. Also we had got Section 12A registration at that time - Do we need to apply for that again or is that lifetime?

If Your Exemption Granted Certificate on or After 1/4/6 The No Need to Apply.
But In UR Case You have to Apply Again.
Thanks Ayush - I believe you are talking about Sec 80G which was granted on 23.10.02. So that has to be applied again afresh without any reference to old certificate. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Ad what about certificate u/s 12A - Does that need to be applied again also?

and Regarding 80g, Once You Taken, Then No Need to Apply Every Year. till AO Not Cancell Your Exemption Certificate.
Thanks but I think I am confusing in 80 G and 12A. I am putting two questions separately again.
