Find attached All about Referencer on Secretarial Audit in the attachement, issued by GOI.  This is a Volountry Guidelines and listed companies of fairly large sized companies and their Board of Directors are adopting it for the benefits of their Board of Diectors.

Formal concept of Secretarial Audit has been included in the Companies Bill 2012 but yet to be passed in Rajya Sabha.

Since I am a Chartered Secretary in Public Practice in INDIA and UK both the places, British Charetered Secretaries are " almost surprised and thrilled " to know about the concept of Secretarial Audit and admire the rich Professional Status of Indian Company Secretaries in practice as in UK such concept is NIL but a few companies volountrarily adopting it for their INDIAN arm WOS or Branches.

Since we are the FIRST AND ONLY Practicing Company Secretary working globally, hence this concept has facinated many MNCs around the globe. We have carried out  Secretarial Audit for many British and Indian companies which instill confidence into the Board of Directors of the Audited Company.
