Hi i want to know whether sec 54 ec capital bonds maturity proceeds are taxable or not?

it is taxable
to claim exemption you have to invest the same within a period of six months in the long term specified asset
The maturity proceeds of the 54EC bonds is taxable only over interest part; but principal amount is taxfree.
