A peer review of statutory auditors of listed companies may have become mandatory from April this year, but the Securities Exchange Board of India (Sebi) is yet to come out with a notification on the same.  those peer review is conducted by ICAI as a normal process nd this peer review will be done of sens*x and nse cos.  as per SEBI guidelines

Dost i am Company Secretary of a reputed and Listed Media House. My Company is listed with NSE and BSE. In fact we are waiting for the completion of PEER REVIEW of our Auditors and SEBI certificate in their favour.

This is to inform you that no specific Notification is pending from SEBI.

ICAI is working on the basis of internal instructions of SEBI. Anyways thanks for sharing.

thanx sir for sharing this news.

i think this article is talking abt mandatory peer review applicable from april .

nd the existing peer review of companies is done by the instruction of SEBI for particular companies.

am i right? clarify this

Well Manish i am not sure about the difference between mandatory peer review and existing peer review. As per my Auditors they are going through PEER REVIEW as per ICAI+SEBI's instructions. I think mandatory peer review is on.

I'll talk to my Auditors regarding this and update you accordingly.

Best Regards
