Dear All,

Please clarify the below Query.

My colleague has getting Pension from SBI monthly around 1300/- + but it is a tax savings of earlier years. now he is retired & he is gettting this by monthly. Whether it is taxable or exempted from tax. Please clarify.

Uncommuted pension is always taxable in the hands of the receiver...So, there will be tax liability on ur frnd..
