can someone please tell me what is the solution if same pan has been allotted to two persons.
Other person is filing his return on the same pan and his Aadhar is also linked.

How it is possible?? Same pan allotted to two person. If so, I.T department makes mistakes.
Yes. it happens. There are many cases.
Check that first 5 id is ENGLISH LETTERS. Next 4 are numericals. Last id is again English letter.
u have to approach CIT Office with written application than they cancel one pan, most probably which issues later and give letter to u to apply for new pan
