Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies the accounting treatment for donating a one-day online sale to a COVID relief foundation. The sale amount should not be recorded as revenue but treated as a donation expense in the P&L. Importantly, the GST collected on these sales is a liability to the government and cannot be donated.

Please elaborate in details
The company decided that we donate all one-day online sale amount to covid relief foundation.
Then the donation should not be recorded as revenue by the company. It will be treated as Donation given in P&L or in Balance sheet. It should be treated as expenses
