dis is sakthi, doing CA final, working as finance executive in fixture mfr.ing pvt. ltd company at bangalore.  I wish to restructure of our company salary structure. Now we are in breakup of basic,hra,medical & conveyance thats it. Hence give me the suggestion about to restructure the same,  which should have  tax free allowances. Hence pls provide me the eloborate suggestion about allowances details. Thanks.

You may define the salary structure for the benefit of employees by  giving them allowance which are exempt. Such as HRA which should be 50% of Basic Pay (So that employee can claim maximum benefit),Transport allowance , childeren education allowance. 

You may pay them Medical reimbursemet upto 15000 Per Year & Telephone and conveyance rexpenses reimbursement and Get the expenses bill from employees so that they can avail exemption on reimbursements. However FBT is liable on such reimbursements.

By following this type of practices you may give maximum benefit to employees.

1. workers - as per minimum wages
2. Techinican - work at plant or shop floor( daily or fixed base)
3.Supervisor - working at shop floor - fixed
4.Engineer - working at shop floor - fixed
5.Office staff
    a. Manager level position
    b. Senior level position
    c. office assistant
6. marketing staff
    1. v.p. marketing
    2. g.m.marketing
    3. Sr.manager marketing
    4. Marketing Manager
    5. Asst.Marketing manager
    6. Marketing Representatives
  the above all position will be fulfill in nearby 2 months period. currently we have not any registration with pf, esic,etc.
so you are kindly requested to suggest and forward me the details structure for salary payment to the employees as early as possible by you.

    b. Marketing Representatives (Software, Herbline Cosmetics Item etc)
7. Maintenance Incharge
 
Currently we have already registraterd with PF.
So you are kindly requested to suggest and forward me the details structure for salary payment to the employees as early as possible by you.
