In schedule Salary in ITR2, gross salary is not auto filled. Nor there is any provision of entering details manually while filing on line. The only facility provided in Salary Schedule is to fill details of deductions from salary income.
Then how any one can complete ITR 2 for filing? Has any one else faced this problem? Has any one completed filing ITR 2 with salary income? Please suggest how to resolve this situation?
But ITR1 is not applicable due to Capital Gain income. Hence have to file ITR2. Am not able to install off line utility, hence want to use ITR2. Why should ITR2 not have similar facility to fill in gross salary as ITR1?

Have you checked ITR 2 on line filing? Does it show Gross Salary amount auto filled or provide place for manual entry?
Auto filed , some cases -Through 26AS.

Gross salary is not getting auto filled through AS 26. In on line mode, there is no schedule for entering Gross slary. Only provision is for deductions from salary. Hence not possible to provide salary income. ITR 1 provides this facility, but not ITR2
Wait until the due date of Q4 -TDS update, just wait Ji.
