hi, do we need to submit any documentary evidence to claim medical expenditure met for parents? and what is the exemption limit for a salaried employee?

Under 80D(2)(d) -it's allowed to a very senior citizen 80 above. subject to aggregate limit 30000 and conditions.

You need not submit any documentary evidence while claiming the medical expenditure...however you may keep the docs in your custody in case of producing before department of it's calls for...medical expenditure can be claimed upto 50000 for senior citizens
