i was recently offered  a job where employer wanted to pay me  8000 rupees . but he  wants  to  claim my salary as  15000 in his income tax returns . ofcourse  i denied for that job . but i feel most of businessmen want same /similar  thing.

as i have other  source of icome (which is taxable  ) i am worried it  can create problem for me .

so mine questions is

1. is cash salary acceptable/admissible in income tax ? (lets says he pays me  cash 8000 rupees and takes exemption of  15000 without informing me ?

2.  is there any way to find out how much salary employer  is caliming on me  in his income tax  returns  ?

3. what documents does employer need to maintain  as proof of salary paid

Employer cant pay salary more than Rs. 10,000/- in cash.

He shall issue you form 16 which will display salary paid to you.
