368 views 5 replies
Dear members I got salary Apr to Aug from different employer and then I changed the job and got salary from different employer and he issue form 16. But earlier employer didn't issue form 16 due to non applicability he only credit salary in account.
Can I mention in itr 1 the total of both salary in same column?

File ITR 2 and show salary from both employer separately.

Yes, In ITR 1 you need to show total of both the employer. Even though tax is not deducted you can ask for Part 2 of Form 16 for filing your ITR.

To avoid mis-match of amounts with 26AS , it's better file ITR 2 and show both salary separately.
This is as a precaution
Tds is not deducted sir. eligible for payment of tax after adding both. That's why I want to show in column salary both amount and pay tax properly.. Is it correct?
Okay Go ahead
