Hi,
Out of your entire gross salary, 40% of your gross should comprise of basic salary and balance can be distributed to allowances. The structure can be as under:
Basic Salary INR 4000
House Rent Allowance INR 2000
Conveyance INR 1600
Medical Allowance INR 1250
Children Education Allowance INR 200
Special Allowance INR 950.
