SAC code in e way bill (Composite supply)

I have a software that is bundled with a raspberry pi device (a single board computer / micro-computer) + few other hardware items. However software is the major component (~80%) in the invoice amount. So we are invoicing it as a composite supply with the software's SAC code and tax rate.

To be able to ship this device (8-10 units), can I use the sac code and generate an e way bill number?

Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies the use of SAC codes versus HSN codes for e-way bills, particularly concerning composite supplies. While SAC codes apply to services, e-way bills are for the movement of goods and require HSN codes. The user's query about using a software's SAC code for an e-way bill when shipping bundled hardware was addressed, explaining that an e-way bill is necessary for goods movement and should reference the HSN code of the primary goods.

No...
e-way bill required for goods movements, not for services. SAC codes applicable for service.

The reason I had this question is - the software is sent with the hardware (composite supply - pls refer to my question). Hence there is movement of goods & the courier agency wants us to give an e way bill. please advise.

(composite supply - pls refer to my question)

- My Reply based on Your query... Right...?!

As per Your question ( can I use the sac code and generate an e way bill number? ) e-way bill not required with SAC code...
It means use HSN code in e-way bill for moving goods...

Better to understand what is HSN code and SAC...!!
