There are no enough batches for GMCS in our chapter. But I'm required to complete GMCS I within first year of my articleship. In that case, what will be the consequence of having not completed GMCS I within one year? Will I get extension of time for such reasons?

In that case immediaetly contact icai concerned official and ask him to get u fitted as ur 1 year will get over soon of ur articleship or else u take that batch whicever is available even if its far away its matter of only 15 days.

Important Announcement
The Council at its 326th Meeting being held from
27th -29th July,2013 at ICAI
Bhawan, New Delhi has decided to grant one time
extension to students, who
were registered for practical
training between 1st May, 2012 and 31st December,2012 to complete GMCS-I Course
latest by 31st December, 2013.
The eligible students are advised to contact the nearest
Regional Council/Branch for
registration ofGMCS-I Course
and complete the same at the
earliest but not later than 31st
December, 2013.
