who issue shipping bill

whether there is tds on courier & forwarding charge

1. Bill of Lading issued by the C & F Agent. This is like a Bility which is used in Inland transportation of goods.

2. Shipping Bill is issued by custom department. This is a document which includes all details of material exported.

3.  TDS U/s 194 C is applicable on Courier  and Forwarding charges (only service charge part)

Bill of Lading is the important documents proof of export , PREPARED BY THE SHIPPING LINE IF U ARE EXPORTING THE GOODE THROUGH SEA, AND IF U ARE EXPORTING VIDE AIR THE AIRWAY BILL PREPARED BY THE CONCRNED AIRLINES AND SUBMIT IN DGFT AND CUSTOMS FOR GRANTING THE AID.

AS PER CUSTOM ACT 2 , 1962 SHIPPING BILL HAS TWO KINDS :-MANUAL AND EDI , BLANK MANUAL SHIPPING BILL IS AVAILABLE IN GOVT. RECOGNISED STATIONEY AGGENCY AND FILLUP THE DATA CUSTOMS DEPARTMENT OF INDIA, AUTHINICATE IT AND EDI(COMPUTERISED SHIPPING BILL ) DUE TO COMPETITIVE MARKET JOB NO. OF THE CONSIGNMENT WILL BE GET BY THE NIC , DEPARTMENT AND FOR SUBMIT AND EXAMINATION THE CUSTOM HOUSE AGENT FILLUP THE WHOLE CONCRNED INFORMATION SUBMIT IT THEN WE GET THE SHIPPING BILL NO. AND AFTER GENERATE IT WE CAN EXPOR THE GOODS THROUGH AIR, OR SEA IN INDIA .

 GENERATE THE SHIPPING BILL WE CAN TAKE THE BENEFIT OF PRE AND POST EXPORT .

AND   TDS U/s 194 C is applicable on Courier  and Forwarding charges
