sir,
someone registered a firm in GST , and issued invoices started from serial no. 101.
he has filed nil GST returns from the month of registration- July 20 to Jan 21 and no returns were filed for the month of February 21 to may 21. so department cancelled the GST registration.
now he wants to revoke the cancellation of registration.
so please guide me what and how to do.
what would be the late fee and panelty.

As you have not applied for revocation of cancellation within 30 days of receiving notice and but after 30 days and within 60 days you have to write a application to the concerned officer stating the ground of reasons for the extension and then if the officer satisfied with the ground then you can apply for revocation under form GST REG 21
Sir, that application should be online or offline
Who will be concern officer ?
Application should either in online or offline mode.
Concerned officer will be the nearest GST jurisdiction officer
but they are saying you have to apeal at higher authority . the option of revocation is not available at joint commissioner level
U should submit ur application to sgst officer
You have to write an application to the Jurisdictional Officer
