Reverse charges on legal services from individual advocate

as per Notification ST 30/2012, Legal Services Provided by a Individual to a body corporate comes under RCM, in your case your company is liable to pay 100% of service tax...

if advocate does not have LLB certificate / bar council Certificate and he is a practitioner than reverse charge will be effective or not?

holding degree/certificate is not a criteria the only criteria is whether such individual providing legal services or not.

Legal services means providing advice,consultancy,assistance in any branch of law including representations before any courts/tribunals
