Ok want to see your mistakes and what you have done in paper. ICAI has system where they send answersheets photocopy at home!!!fees applicable.

Ritika, yes marks do change in reverification but chances are very remote as it is just "retotalling" and not "revaluation" of marks. May be your paper was not valued properly and so you have got this never expected marks. But there is nothing you can do about it. My suggestion to you is to apply for verification n also apply for certified copies so that u can actually see how your paper has been valued. But dont expect anything from verification as its just "retotalling" of your marks. Start preparing for November as time is very short to think about all this. You are not alone who has become victim of this unreliable paper correction system of ICAI. There are many who deserves to pass but fails. Try harder. And dont even think of quitting...at times you have to accept the unexpected and move on. Be brave... Remember, Champions are not those who never fail but those who never quit. Good luck.

I would advice you not to waste any more time relying on ICAI.

Start your preparation as quickly as possible.

marks do increase..my cousins 10 marks had increased...so hope for the best but do start preparing for nov. and since u really want to do it theres is nothing that should stop u from it .y are u saying that this is the last time?

Marks do change in reverification.My one friend became a full fledged CA aftr verification however according to her earlier result she was failed in both groups........

If you are not satisfied with your marks, then do get your paper rechecked.

My situation was same as yours, i was also in dilemma and finally i got my paper rechecked...n guess what i cleared that paper...got 8 marks extra...:)

 

Advantages of Marks Verification and getting Certified Copies:

 

1. Chances are that, your marks changes and so the overall result.

[Though chances are very less even if you feel that you have not got

even half of what you expected]

 

2. Even if marks does not change, you will left with the “satisfaction” that

you used ‘the only option’ provided by ICAI to verify one’s marks.

 

3. With verification option, also apply for Certified Copy of the Answer Sheet.

[Procedure for the same can be found on the Institute’s site]

 

By that, All the Question about the Evaluation would be Answered, in case, your marks does not change via Verification.

 

4. Certified Copy would give you very important guidance/tips as to what ICAI’s evaluation standards are. Same would only make your next Exams preparation more meaningful & much effective.

can u tell what mean "paper rechecking" , is it verification, i was got 59 in IDT but verification results shows "no discripancies" , i hv also applied for certified copies of paper, whether i hv any remedy now, or forget & prepare for next upcoming attempt

thanks guys....as i said my all hopes last on this revaluation results then only i can continue wid ths course.....if i was permitted to go for nov. attempt i wud never hav asked abt revaluation results i wud hav been preparing for nov.,
