Returning to CA final - Suggestion for selecting Institute Study Material

Hello All,

I am returning to CA final after almost 10years. Need a few clarifications to start off.

1- I have done my revalidation, but in the SSP portal it is still showing as "Course status - Lapsed". Should this be a concern?

2- I believe the old course is valid till May2020, that is what i am intending to do. (Group1 in May2020 in old course)

3- I was looking at the CDS portal to buy the study material. But most of the materials say " January, 2017, Edition applicable for November, 2018 Examinations". Should this be a concern, ie if the material was intended for Nov18 exam, should i buy these for my May20 exam, OR wait for newer publication to come out.
