RETAIL INVOICE

Hello experts

One of my client in retail business monthly turnover 80000. Issuing bill for total amount only. For eg. 2 shirt...500.00

Gst filing regularly. In future if any authorities request to submit the bill for verifications, how to maintain these bill. Can we prepare consolitated single invoice/statement for each and everymonth.

Pls give brief descripttion.

No..... you cannot

you you cant make a single bill. you should make bills on regular basis . bills should be made as soon as sales takes place

As per Rule 46 of the CGST Rules a consolidated tax invoice may be issued for day sales where the recipient is an unregistered person and does not require a tax invoice.

Provided further that where an invoice is required to be issued under clause (f) of sub-section (3) of section 31, a registered person may issue a consolidated invoice at the end of a month for supplies covered under sub-section (4) of section 9, the aggregate value of such supplies exceeds rupees five thousand in a day from any or all the suppliers:

you can make consolidated bill incase of sec 9(4) rcm
