Please tell me whether a director of Pvt Ltd Co. (with only 2 directors) can resign before first AGM?, (to meet the minimum Directorship criteria of 2, an additional director is being appointed before his resignation).. is this viable friends?

Yes, first you need to add the director and then you can remove by resignation
