Dear experts,

(HRA is received)

if rent is paid by employee, but not mention in form 16 for deduction by employer.... then can employee claim deduction for rent paid... or he have to file according to form 16 without RENT paid deduction?

Employee can claim rent deduction for rent paid under 80GG.

Yes... He can file with rent paid. Keep valid proof and ready to face notice/intimation from ITD...
if the assessee is in receipt of hra, he can't claim deduction under section 80GG. AFTER DEDUCTING HRA DEDUCTION AND ANY OTHER DEDUCTION (PROFESSIONAL TAX AND TRANSPORT ALLOWANCE?, SHOW THE NET SALARY AS THE TOTAL INCOME DIRECTLY

yes u/s 10(13a) if u r receiving hra in salary
actually he paid a rent,... but he dont have any receipts for it.... then can he make it now from landlord?..... wht kind of receipt will good?

Yes... Rent Deed is better...
Also the Rent paid through bank then it's also good.
so there is no problem if make a rent deed for past year... now?
How is it possible past year deed now?
i mean... if landlord declare tht in the deed... he lives in his house in the past period
