Leave and licence agreement has to be made on a non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 100/-. It will require two witnesses. And it is better to get it registered.
Dear Mihir sir , but when i went to purchase the revenue stamp from the revenue stamp authorities, they are saying that from now on, as per Article 36A of the the Bombay Stamp Act,1958 the non-judicial stamp paper of Rs.100 wont suffice for a Rent Agreement.
Kindly advise what to do in such a case?

@ ashok... they may be correct because i have also executed rent agreement on non judicial stamp paper of 1000.

If that is the case, then you may purchase non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 1000/-.
