I have income from salary, rent from one house, royalty on school text books (₹2.5 lacs; expenses not claimed) and interest on bank deposits.Total taxable income is less than ₹10 lacs. Should I file ITR 3 or ITR 4?

Income from Salary under head Salary
Rent under Income from House property
Royalty under head Income from Other Source
Bank Interest Income from Other Source
So you have to file ITR 1 .

Itr 1 is sufficient.
ITR-4 can be used
File ITR 3

ITR-3 or ITR-4 can be used since there is professional income (Royalty)
Royalty Can be either Income from Other Source or profession .
