Reiumbersement on Gst

We are charging transportation charges to our parties via debit note, at 12 %as transporter charging us gst is applicable to the goods sold to that party as transporter bills to us and not to the party after goods have been delivered. Kindly guide us if we are following correct practice with respect to gst laws and rules

In my point of view you cannot charge gst on debit note as you are not a gta and also you are not issuing any consignment note...your are just acting on behalf of customer , you need to charge full amount as transportation charge and gst should not be charged seperately
