Quick Summary
This discussion explores the Goods and Services Tax (GST) registration requirements when storing goods in a state different from where you are registered. Specifically, it addresses whether a business registered in Karnataka needs additional registration in Kerala to store and sell goods there, even if they plan to issue IGST invoices. Advice includes considering advance rulings, applying for GST registration in Kerala, and exploring options like Casual Taxable Person (CTP) registration.

Apply for Advance Ruling under section 97(2)(F) of the CGST Act 2017 .
Better to apply for gst registration fir long term perspective.
Will the advance ruling would take time ?
Just confirm on GSTN portal or CBIC web with help desk.

Need to apply GST registration for Kerala location.

Can we go with Casual taxable person registration?
