Need to know how TDS works? and if i want to learn all the workings related to this (Basic of TDS), what have to do? Please help on this.

you need to read all provision for TDS sec 192 to sec 195
persons responsible for making payment of income covered by the scemene of tax deduction are required to deduct TDS at the prescribed rates. TDS must be deposited within the prescribed time. and then return of TDS must be filled in time
