I have got mail from CPC, Banglore for the Demand Arrear for AY 2008-09. My return or demand was nil at the time of Return Filing that time. Please advise me how to rectify this. I have already met with Assessing Officer more than 10 times, but no result still. Now getting frustated.

I have got notice for u/s 143 and amount is approx 25000. MY all tds is reflected in form 26AS. MY employer had deposited the tds and the tds figure in correct in all the documents. Do i need to file a rectificaion? I have given an application to delete this demand in favour of me on simple plain paper. Is that suffice or i need to do something more?
