Dear sir,
Can a Practising Lawyer work as a Insurance Agent also or not. Please Guide us.

Yes why not , it bar council allows it.
Yes... He can.
Rules 47 to 52 of Bar Council of India Rules puts a restriction on practicing advocates from taking up other employments.
Agent / agency work is not employment...
Employment here means any activity other than legal practice.

You can do prescribed activities such as law lecturer in college, writing publishing of law books, law seminars, etc etc

For any activity other than prescribed is subject to Bar Council permission only

Insurer Agency is not prescribed one.

Then what about some Lawyers / Advocates also giving "Income Tax & GST" works...?

Can You differenciate LIC and IT&GST...?
