Please can anyone assist me regarding which ITR form to file for AY 2021 2022 and also which challan to be used for tax payment for AY 2021 2022
I am having Salary income and short term equity capital gain.
Tax Payable comes approx.Rs 55,000 during AY 2021 2022

For corporate taxpayers and individual taxpayers liable to tax audit, the due to date of filing return for AY 2021-22 has been extended to November 30 from October 31. In the same case, the returns of income for AY 2021-22 can be filed by December 31, 2021.
The tax forms and schedules listed here are for the 2022 Tax Year tax returns and they can be e-filed via eFile.com between early January 2023 and October 15, 2023. Use the 2022 Tax Calculator to estimate 2022 Tax Returns. The 2021 eFile Tax Season starts in January 2021.

Is it possible can I pay tax now around 55,000 and later on I can file return for AY 2021 2022
or I have to file return first and then have to do payment.

No, first payment has to be made. ITR cannot be filed without payment of pending dues.
