wen i fill up the ITR-2 for an assessee then after filling the form, when i press the calculate tax button, no interest payable is shown u/s 234C & 234B, it shows 0. But assessee has not paid any adv. tax and no TDS and tax amount comes to 156970/- , any one can say the reason what happended..... either software problen or any other reason...

is the assessee earning capital gains?
there is no capital gain and above shown tax amount is tax liability after deducting basic exemption limit i.e. 2lac.
Its purely a software problem, kindly download the fresh form and then see to it, if the problem still remains kindly contact the helpline on income tax site.
