regarding income tax refunds for e filling 2009-10

After accnowledgement sent to Banglore, you will received the confirmation by deptt on ur Email id which mentioned in tne ITR.

Ya i got the acknowledgement for the itr filed but how do i came to know the processing status.

because banglore office is only  the collection agent. returns are going to process by our jurisdictions assesing officer. But the AO say they dont know anything about e returns.

The Centralised Processing Centre of the Income Tax Department here has processed over 26 lakh e-filed returns in Forms 1-4 for the assessment year 2009-10. It has determined refunds in over five lakh cases. A release said refunds are being sent through State Bank of India.
There are two option to know your status of Income Tax Return filed online without digital signature or say Status of ITR-V sent by Post to Bangluru

1. Login on the Income Tax e-filing Portal www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in and follow the following steps


Login to the e filing site with your pan and password.
Go to the “My Account ” tab
In drop down menu under My account Tab click ” e- filing processing status”
In next screen fill you ITR-V acknowledgement Number and Select your assessment year.
You will get status of your return/ITR-V processing status in next screen

To know the status of Income Tax Return filed online without digital signature or say Status of ITR-V sent by Post to Bangluru- Click the below link and put pan no and click.

is not giving any details regarding the pan nos. of the assessee whose returns are filled without digital signature.

Is there any other way to check the status, I also checked form 26 as tax credit satement.
