Regarding grauti
Sir I was employed with the NHPC Ltd. Sir I have received a sum of Rs. 20 Lac as gratuity and my DDO has been deducted TDS on the said sum sir I want to know that the said amount of gratuity is fully exempt from income tax, sir please guide me Thanks

Gratuity receipt is exempt under 10(10) upto a ceiling of 10 lakhs upto 29.3.2018 and thereafter upto 20 lakhs.
