Institute counts percentage on the basis of groups applied and passed.

i.e passed divided by total applied.

If a student applied for both groups and clears only in one of the groups then he is not counted in that 3.11%. only passed in both the groups are 3.11% this time.

Its default method. the reason is ICAI want to give total students passed as against total applied.
