Is there any provision to correct the category recorded against TAN and what steps may be initiated to do so.
In our TAN, the category is recorded as Firm against Local Body . plase advise.

Yes. try tan correction form
You may correct it online from NSDL TAN correction form
Online is possible but sometimes there are technical glitches.
