I want to dissolve my partnership firm (because my business partner has got expired last year). After dissolving I want to convert that partnership firm to Sole proprietorship.
Is it necessary to change the company name?
If not, Do I need to register the company again after dissolving of partnership firm. please advice

there is no "company" being dealt in your issue., if the partnership has to be dissolved and &Co. doesnt indicate a company under ROC., any change of name of partnership name or composition has to be re registered., and Conversion to sole proprietorship should have a registration under necessary authorities who are dealing with Shops and Establishments Act or other state laws. dissolution of partnership has to be informed along with dissolution agreement
My company serves for transporting goods from one state to another or within the state. under which law or act, I can register my company
